Hyderabad sources have stated that a priest was arrested by Cops in Viittalwadi on Wednesday for sexually assaulting a Delhi woman in the temple premises.
It is stated that the Victim went to Sai Baba Temple in Vittalwadi to offer prayer and was noticed her weeping,
Temple Priest K Rama Rao had asked her why she is in distress and the 45 Year old woman has told him that her daughter was arrested two months ago at Rajiv Gandhi International Airport for allegedly smuggling 1.99 kg cocaine.
The priest upon giving a patient hearing has suggested her that performing a special pooja will end her troubles and has asked her to comeback at 2 PM and believing his words, the Woman has reached temple with five lemons and turmeric powder and it was then Priest has taken her to his room and has raped her.
Soon after the sexual assault, the Victim has approached Narayanguda Police to lodge a complaint and a rape case under Section 376 of IPC was booked immediately and the priest was taken into custody and it is stated that the priest was 25 years old.
