In their penchant to hon in media limelight, AAP leaders are even putting the security of the nation at risk. AAP MP Bhagwant Mann shocked all by posting a video on his Facebook the Parliament’s security pickets and internal security positions.
When this created huge controversy with many demanding severe action against the MP, Bhagwant Mann defended his act saying he was just showing people how the parliament functions. He blatantly questioned Kya meri video se sansad khatre mein aa gyi. (Did my video pose a security threat to Parliament),” asked the AAP MP. “I will post a video again tomorrow. Let me be served a notice.”
BJP MPs demanded action and Minister of state for Home Affairs Kiren Rijiju blasted Mann for his irresponsible behavior. Following huge uproar in the Parliament speaker Sumitra Mahajan said she will take stern action after taking opinion from various people.
AAP MP Bhagwant Mann apologised in Lok Sabha but the Speaker said "this issue isn't something that can be resolved by a mere apology", She said "Action should be taken, (I) would have taken a prompt decision if it (the filming) had been inside the house,"
Mann's 10 minute video showed him travelling past security barriers on the approach to Parliament, the gate used by vehicles belonging to Parliamentarians and even the inside of offices on the premises.
