The Land Acquisition for Mallanna Sagar Project has definitely become the most serious headache for KCR led TRS government after coming to power more than two years ago. This has openly given ammunition for Telangana opposition and they are cashing on the situation very well.
Moreover, the Irrigation Minister and a strong arm for the TRS, Harish Rao has become the main affected in this storm. What is really deeply humiliating Harish and his followers is that even with a huge contingent in TRS, no one is coming out in support of him.
When any issue arises, right from MLC’s to MLA’s. MP’s, Ministers and even KCR comes out openly to respond and defend government. But regarding this issue, it appears as if Harish is clearly waging a lone battle. The reason behind zero support is not known.
Some political analysts say this is being seen as a move to corner him and tarnish to damage his image permanently. Even in Medak, his supporters are surprised as to why even the cadre of KCR’s constituency is also not coming to support him!
