Special Status for Andhra Pradesh is increasing tempers after Union Government headed by PM Modi ruled out granting the same to the state as promised during the elections. This triggered angry reactions not only from people but also NGOs apart from CM Chandra Babu Naidu and his TDP which is the alliance partner and also from Jagan Mohan Reddy's YSRCP. 


A bandh call was given by Jagan Mohan Reddy and Congress party at once supported it. TDP leaders reacted angrily and this triggered rebuttals from BJP leaders from the state. Now it is comingout that RSS pulled down Modi's government and asked state BJP leaders not to react strongly to criticism from TDP leaders. 


RSS strategist from Nagpur revealed “Nagpur wants the BJP to maintain strategic silence on AP affairs,” It is comingout that RSS is divising different game plan for Andhra Pradesh. Source revealed that RSS anticipated the situation as chemistry between major and minor stakeholders at the Centre would always have a point of confrontation.


RSS according to source is not surprised with some TDP leaders bringing back Godra riots to the discussion. BJP national general secretary P. Muralidhar Rao said “In the AP point of view, the BJP can’t be seen as a villain,” and added PM Modi nor BJP will not react hastily to the developments in AP.
