M K Stalin, the DMK Treasurer slammed the ruling AIADMK government on a number of issues. He picked on Pushpa being slapped issue as well.
Though it was not clear who actually slapped her, Puspha had first rushed into the Well of the House to get permission to make her statement and then broke down several times as she said that she faced death threats from the state government and alluded to her being "slapped by a leader."
Stalin further charged the ruling party with 'water mismanagement' and said that it is responsible for the dying crops of the state. Further he alleged that the women in Tamil Nadu 'have no safety or security'.
In Erode, Stalin took part in the Memorial Day event of a freedom fighter Dheeran Chinnamalai. Speaking at the gathering he said that he people have placed them in a stronger position to question the wrongdoings of the ruling party.
