Hyderabad sources have stated that Telangana IT Minister K.T.Rama Rao on Wednesday has said that the State government was keen on encouraging young entrepreneurs and as part of the hand-holding process extend tailor made packages and after launching a laptop, priced at Rs.9,999, of a Hyderabad headquartered RDP Workstations Pvt Ltd, the Minister has said such packages would help harness the potential of young entrepreneurs.


Meanwhile IT Secretary Jayesh Ranjan has said affordable devices such as the laptop would help achieve the objectives of Digital Telangana programme and at the heart of the programme is the ambitious plan of the State government to provide broadband connection to every household.


Mr.Ranjan has said, adding six villages in Telangana have become 100%  digital literate and the government, he pointed out, has engaged Indian School of Business to carry out a third party audit of the digital literacy levels
.
It is also stated that the 14.1 inch RDP Thin book laptop comes with Intel Atom x5-Z8300 processor and runs on Windows 10 and also has a 2 GB RAM and offers a 32 GB storage, which is expandable up to 128 GB.
