People across the world are enjoying the most extravagant sports event Olympics at Rio De Janeiro in Brazil. Athletes from nations across the world are entertaining people with their stellar performances. Int he midst of all this shocking news is comingout that Rio Olympic games bus was hit by gun fire.

Gun fire happened on a high way between Olympics Venues when the bus was heading towards the main Olympic park from the Games Basketball venue. No one was injured seriously in the gun fire. Passengers revel that they herd two shorts hitting the vehicle which shattered the windows and flying glass panes injured two people. 


 Sherryl "Lee" Michaelson, a retired US air force captain who is working for a basketball publication in Rio said "We were shot at. I mean we could hear the report of the gun," Brazilian police were unavailable for comment. Sainza of the Argentinian daily La Nacion, who was on the bus recollected "We threw ourselves to the floor and two kilometres later the police came and escorted us to the main press centre with the broken windows,"

He went on to add "Two impacts on the right side of the bus shattered two windows. A reporter from Belarus suffered a cut hand. There is confusion as to whether it was bullets or stones,"


Rio is renowned for violent crimes in street and it already left its mark in the Olympics,first in South America. Just couple of days back as journalists at the equestrian centre missed being hit by a bullet. The incident occred near NewZealand team officla and it was suspected that a gang member fired the bullet while trying to shoot down a plice drone or a blimp.
