North India is hit by floods and already National Disaster Response Force or NDRF is carrying out intense rescue operations. According to the latest women suffering from labor pains are delivering babies on boats.
BIHAR
The brave team rescued many people from across various villages drowned in floods and according to the latest NDRF team rescued a woman named Saroj Patel who experiencing labor pains in a village drowned completely in Vaishali district which is 65 KM away from Patna.
Soldiers rescued her and after finding out the nearest hospital in google, started towards it on a boat. But the woman delivered a baby boy in the middle of the journey in boat itself. As the hospital was alerted ahead, contingent of hospital staff was ready with the ambulance to help the woman.
UTTAR PRADESH
Earlier in Patna, NDRF team helped another woman deliver a baby girl in the capital city of Patna. NDRF speaking to scribes said the soldiers are trained in handling any emergencies. Officer said in Ara a baby boy was delivered in similar situation on a boat and family named the boy as "NDRF Singh".
Most of the north India especially Bihar and Uttar Pradesh are affected due to heavy rains and all rivers in spate. A week back woman gave birth to a baby on a rescue boat in Uttar Pradesh. Entire north India from Rajasthan,Madhya Pradesh,Bihar,Jharkhand, floods affected the normal life.
MADHYA PRADESH
Home Minister Rajnath Singh poke to the chief ministers of four states and around 56 NDRF teams are in operation and till now 26,000 people have been rescued. Rajnath Singh said ” The Chief Ministers informed me about the rescue and relief operations being carried out by the NDRF, SDRF and other govt. agencies. I assured the Chief Ministers of full cooperation from the Centre in the flood mitigation drive launched by the states,”
