Hyderabad sources have stated that the Metropolitan Magistrate court in Rajendranagar on Wednesday has granted the SIT two day custody of Md Abdul Fayeem and his wife Sajeeda for interrogation in the Nayeemuddin shooting case.
It is stated that the two are accused in cases under Arms Act and also murder charges filed at Narsingi and Vanasthalipuram police stations and meanwhile Fayeem and Sajeeda are relatives of slain Maoist Nayeemuddin and had participated in various illegal activities with him.
Meanwhile after Nasreen's skeletal remains were identified, police has sought 10 day custody of the couple to enable them to extract information on where in Kothur they burnt Nadeem's body three years ago and the police have also wanted the duo to identify various houses belonging to Nayeem in Andhra Pradesh.
Sources have added that the police have also filed a separate petition before the court seeking Prisoner Transit (PT) warrant against Nayeem's wife Haseena Begum and his sister Saleema Begum, who are accused in Alkapuri Colony arms case and both were arrested by the Shadnagar police following the seizure of firearms on August 9t
