It is stated that these two visits are being seen as attempts by AAP to project Delhi as a model before the voters by raising the "aam aadmi" pitch, where the minister of water and tourism Kapil Mishra has recently visited Gujarat and his trips for the next few months are being chalked out.

Presently Kejriwal has faced criticism from both BJP and Congress over his visits to Punjab, Gujarat and Goa and the two opposition parties have been pointing out how the CM, instead of giving time to Delhi, was focusing on AAP's political expansion.

Meanwhile a senior AAP functionary has told that the visits are also anticipated to bolster the efforts of volunteers who will be doing door to door campaigns in the months ahead telling people not just what they want to do but also about the AAP-led Delhi Government 's achievements.
