The MLC election is round the corner and the Telugu Desam Party has finally chosen the person to represent their party. He is none other than Chigurupati Varaprasad who comes from the sitting graduates MLC. The election is scheduled to take place on February 21st and the party has given few reasons for their decision.
It is heard that Varaprasad has done many programs to develop students and schools in Guntur, Krishna districts. Some of his schemes named as ‘Seva Yagna’ ‘Yuva Nirman’ ‘Arogya Yagna’ ‘Vidya Yagnam’ ‘Santidevo Bhava’ and other vocational training programs have proved very effective.
Sources say Varaprasad gave away six years of his salary and other allowances to voluntary organizations and nearly 1200 schools across the state have benefited from this fund. It is heard that the AP Private Schools Association, Teachers Association have expressed their support to Varaprasad.
