The last three years has seen a lot of ups and downs happening regarding the Telangana issue and most of this disturbance is attributed to the decisions taken by the Congress high command which kept changing from time to time. Two men have been given the blame in this process.
They are former home minister Chidambaram and the current home minister Sushil Kumar Shinde. It was a rather unfortunate date on December 9th when Chidambaram made a statement few years back which has become the main weapon for the Telangana seekers. Today he has washed his hands off.
Shinde took over and he made an announcement last month that Telangana decision will be made by January 28th, again turmoil happened but nothing happened. The Telangana activists made a lot of noise demanding action and few lawyers also filed a 420 case against both in court. But the truth is, not even an ant can bite such powerful politicians.
