In a shocking development All India Radio (AIR) came with a tweet which is against Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi and this triggered huge controversy. After government broadcaster's anti Rahul Gandhi tweet, Congress party launched blistering attack on the government and demanded explanation from Union Information Minister Venkaiah Naidu, whether AIR was allowed only to propagate saffron agenda.
Congress dubbed the AIR action as "unpardonable" and "shameful" and Congress spokesperson Randeep Surjewala reacted sharply to AIR's tweets after which the tweet was removed.
AIR came with the tweet "Why he got scared earlier. How he became daring to defame #RSS. He should stick to comments #RahulrattlesRSS."
Surjewala exploded on twitter with the following tweets. "Does Information & Broadcasting Minister @MVenkaiahNaidu take orders from the RSS for tweets from AIR? So now All India Radio has officially become His Masters' Voice? So rattled by #RahulRattlesRSS???"
AIR went in a damage control mode and came with a tweet "The said tweet has been deleted on the direction of DG News as it did not conform to editorial standards of AIR."
It is known that Rahul Gandhi did numerous flip flops in Court on his statement that RSS killed Mahatma Gandhi and it resulted in bitter battle between Congress,RSS and BJP.
