Now special status fight is intensifying while Union Government is planning to silence other states by scraping special status completely and instead give huge special package to AP.

It is comingout that while TDP and BJP are planning to support special package, opposition parties like Jagan Mohan Reddy's YSRCP and Congress party are planning to oppose it tooth and nail. TDP and BJP are making plans to counter the opposition parties by highlighting expected developments like railway zone and financial package. Already the Left parties and the Congress will be participating in protests in front of central government offices across the state on September 8.
