Andhra Pradesh sources have added that AP CM Nara Chandrababu Naidu's spouse Nara Bhuvaneswari has adopted the Komaravolu village in Pamarru mandal in Krishna district as part of her husband's Smart Village program and presently there's a controversy brewing over the adopted village.
It is stated that YSRCP's Deputy Floor Leader
Uppuleti Kalpana has alleged that Babu and Bhuvaneswari have resorted to
corruption to the tune of 7 crores by breaking the rules and misusing the RDF
funds which are allotted for various developmental programs in the village.
Meanwhile Kalpana has alleged conspiracy in
catering such a huge amount to a single village when the rest of the
surrounding villages in the constituency too have not even proper roads and
sanitation.
When questioning Babu's non-transparent
governance, Kalpana has said that the YSRCP leaders will raise this issue
during the forthcoming winter assembly session. Let us wait and watch what
happens next.
