People started losing faith on Modi's BJP and Chandra Babu's TDP as BJP government at the centre adopted double standards and started dragging the issue. It is known that people of AP are waiting for a powerful leader to fight for their rights with the centre.
During that time Power Star Pawan Kalyan who remained silent for two years after playing key role in the formation of TDP-BJP government in the state decided enough is enough and fight for special status. When Pawan Kalyan announced that he will fight for the special status in a three phase manner and Sep 9th will be the start of his fight, this sounded warning bells to the centre.
They felt that if they allow Pawan kalyan to have his way, it is as if allowing him to become powerful leader in Andhra Pradesh which is not having any at present. So Chandra Babu and Modi in consultation with eachother decided to stem Pawan kalyan's rising clout.
Pawan kalyan's speech at Tirupathi got good response and so TDP-BJP combine decided to marginalise him. Now the question is will Pawan kalyan continue his confrontatio with TDP-BJP combine. Will he fight for special status as BJP govt made clear that there will not be special status?
