Andhra Pradesh sources have stated
that the decision of picking TDP senior
leader Motkupalli Narsimhulu to appoint as a state governor looks finalized at
PM office., where Motkupalli, the staunch loyalist of Telugu Desham Party and
Chandrababu Naidu, is the lone non-BJP member competing for the post.
It was stated that the Narendra Modi government
has been looking out for full time state governors following the exit of
following governors: Ramnaresh Yadav (Madhya Pradesh), Roshaiah (Tamil Nadu)
and JP Rajkhowa (Arunachal Pradesh) and although many BJP veterans are in
competition, centre is seriously considering the candidatures of Motkupalli
Narsimhulu and former CM of Gujarat Anandiben Patel to fill the vacancies.
earlier there were many rumors in rife that
Narsimhulu could bag TN governor post but he may now be pushed to North eastern
state Arunachal Pradesh after the latest happenings at centre and as the lack
of clarity led to speculation, an official declaration over the same would be
made in a matter of very little time.
It is also stated that although this move has not
gone down well with AP leaders, Chandrababu Naidu is presently very confident
that it will boost Telugu Desham party in Telangana.
