Andhra Pradesh sources have stated that TDP senior leader and Chittoor MP K Siva Prasad has expressed his strong displeasure over not according special status to Andhra Pradesh by the union government and has compared special status with 'Mother's Milk' and special package is like 'Tin Milk.' (Dabba Palu).
Meanwhile it may be mentioned here that another
TDP senior leader and union minister for Science and Technology Sujana Chowdary
has added that special package is like an email and special package is a
disbanded telegram service.
Siva Prasad has also said AP people were eagerly
waiting for special status as promised by the BJP during the 2014 election
campaign and it was unfortunate that the centre took U-turn on the issue and
the people will have to decide whether special package help AP to overcome the
hurdles confronted the state after the bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh.
Sources have also added that the MP has said chief
minister N Chandrababu Naidu is striving hard to develop the state with the
special package announced by the centre recently and Siva Prasad was the first
ruling TDP leader who has responded against the special package.
