Sources have stated that the court has raised strong objection on the Speaker's decision and has instructed him to explain reasons as to why the TDLP merged in 90 days and meanwhile, TDP leader A Revanth Reddy has said court instruction was a slap in the face of KCR and as per the rules, Speaker does not have any powers to merge a legislative party with other parties.

Presently Revanth has said the TDP was demanding the disqualification of turncoats and organize bye elections in all assembly constituencies from where the TDP defectors have won 2014 election.
