Bengaluru sources have stated that the Bharatiya Janata Party has presently decided to boycott the all Party meeting convened by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah to discuss the pros and cons of the Supreme Court's verdict on release of Cauvery water to Tamil Nadu till September 27th.

When accusing the Chief Minister of ignoring the views of the Opposition Parties in the earlier meetings, the BJP has insisted that a legislature session should be convened instead of an all party meeting, where security has been tightened around Vidhana Soudha and Chief Minister's residence, in anticipation of law and order problems following the meeting.

Meanwhile the apex court has also asked the Centre to constitute the Cauvery Water Management Board within four weeks and that apart, both Tamil Nadu and Karnataka can file objections to the Cauvery Supervisory Committee report in three days.
