Andhra Pradesh sources have stated that another regional political party in addition to YSR Congress party and the fledgling Jana Sena will come up in Andhra Pradesh in 2017 and it was stated that the new party will confine to North Coastal Andhra districts. 




Presently the political circles are murmuring that senior leader from North Andhra Konatala Ramakrishna is holding series of meetings with his followers in his native Anakapalli in Visakhapatnam district, srikakulam and Vizianagaram districts about his plans to float a new political outfit.

It was stated that Konatala has been staying away from active politics after 2014 and has also rejected invitation to join ruling TDP in the recent times and after the relationships with YSR Congress party president YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has strained, the senior political has taken up fight on the backwardness of coastal Andhra and conducted several meetings with locals.



Recently Konatala has visited extensively the three districts and has conducted study on the backwardness of the region and has taken up a movement demanding to complete all pending irrigation projects in the region and demanding special fund allocations for the development of the districts.
