Terrorist attack on Army camp in Uri, Jammu and Kashmir made people of the country angry and are demanding tough action against Pakistan. Army which lost 18 of its brave soldiers are baying for the blood of the attackers and India intensified efforts to strike at Pakistan diplomatically,economically and militarily.
PM Modi and the Government of India is enjoying public support from people of the country according to a survey to strike hard at Pakistan as the nation already witnessed increased number of attacks. Under these circumstances while opposition parties started questioning PM Modi's striking silence on the attack except for the single line that he will avenge the death of the soldiers, many wondered what PM Modi is doing after the deadly strike at Uri.
It is comingout that PM Modi held series of high level meetings with is cabinet ministers to chalkout country's response on the issue. Apart from it on Tuesday PM Modi held meetings with the army officials throughout the night at military operations directorate of the Army in south block chalking out plans of action.
Even the next day Modi held two CCS meetings in the war room with top ministers and Army chief to discuss the situation. War room discussions assume significance as it is the "military operations directorate", is an isolated and super secret office in the defence ministry from where the army monitors all security-related movement.
Inside talk is Army top brass made power point presentation and sand models along with the help of maps and apprised PM Modi on the situation. This came even as India summoned PAK High Commissioner Abdul basit to slap him with the proof of Pakistan hand.
India is also tightening screws as it is planning to scrap MFN status of Pakistan and also call off the Indus Water treaty with Pakistan which will leave the country starving.
