New Delhi sources have stated that Tourism and water minister Kapil Mishra was given additional interim charge of the department of food and civil supplies and this post was earlier held by former minister Sandeep Kumar, who is currently in judicial custody following his alleged involvement in a sex tape.
Earlier on Thursday, Mishra has taken charge of the department and has presently issued a series of guidelines to be implemented.
As per the new guidelines, in the next seven days, all ration stores should put a large information board outside their stores which will clearly define the working hours of the store as well as the weekly off.
It was stated that the store will display prominently the license number, inventory stock of all commodities and their prices in clear words outside the store.
