As per latest report from sources Telangana Industries minister KT Rama Rao has faced first ever major embarrassment in his two year stint as minister from his own constituency people.
It was stated that the minister's convoy was
attacked by a group of JAC leaders on the demand to create Siricilla assembly
constituency as new district. KTR was representing MLA from Siricilla.
Meanwhile KTR was moving towards Siricilla when
the JAC leaders obstructed the minister at Lingapur in Karimnagar district and
mild tension was prevailed as police resorted to latch charge against the
agitators. Irate on police high handedness, the JAC leader also tried to
vandalize cops vehicles but in vain.
Sources have added that KTR convinced the JAC
leaders the hurdles facing in the creation of Siricilla as new district due to
geographical and socio- economic conditions and when unrelenting to KCR
request, the JAC leaders have warned to intensify agitation if the government
did not accept the demand, which is under police protection, and KTR had
finally left the place.
