Sources from Hyderabad
have stated that Hyderabad people, who have got a respite from heavy rains that
brought normal life to a grinding halt in the last one week, are currently facing
another big problem.
It was stated that with the top layer of the roads
completely washed away in the rains, dust particles are playing havoc in the city
and the people particularly two wheeler riders on the city roads are struggling
hard to drive their vehicles under dust particles.
The Officials have said the dust less than two
microns is harmful and cause chronic respiratory ailments as the particles
disturb the lungs and blocks the airways and the air pollution will also affect
eyes causing day long itching.
It was stated that as the roads are damaged,
diesel vehicles moving at snail pace also caused health problems with emitting
high concentrated chemicals and the threat of the outbreak of respiratory
problems among bike riders is high and the roads were damaged completely.
