The TDP president Chandrababu Naidu is not stopping at anything when it comes to giving sops and announcing special packages to each and everyone. After targeting the minorities and others, it is now the turn of the Scheduled Tribes (ST) and it is heard that the party has come up with something for them.
Speaking about it, the Telugu Desam ST wing state president Lakshman Nayak reportedly promised free education and two acres of land if TDP is voted to power. Not only that the TDP is now promising to upgrade the ST habitations with a population of 500 to gram panchayats.
They are also looking at extending the pensions for 50 year olds and for ST girls who would be getting married, a sum of Rs 50000 would be given. The list continues with a separate ST Commission being planned along with ST Bhavan in every district, about Rs 5 lakhs loan without collateral security and housing for STs. What more can the STs ask for?
