The two major parties of Andhra Pradesh are Congress and Telugu Desam and though they are political rivals both are currently suffering from a common problem. This is the Replacement Problem. In the last few months, many senior and experienced leaders from their parties have quit them.
They are joining YSR Congress party. And when someone powerful and experienced leaves, it is becoming hard to find a replacement who is strong and has that kind of power. Both Congress and TDP are putting brave faces and giving statements that it is time for fresh blood and new thoughts, the reality situation is different.
Ultimately when the elections arrive the public will vote for the leader they connect than the party and its its ideology. So, if a replacement is not found and that too a right one both the parties have a lot to lose. It is not that Kiran or Chandrababu Naidu don’t realize that but unless they put some attention this problem will not be solved.
