Politicians resort to various publicity stunts in order to promote their agendas and most of the times it is purely about projecting themselves among the public. With the Telangana issue burning, many leaders are doing their best to get the maximum mileage. In that process, one stint has been the bus yatra.
In the Telangana region, the Telangana leaders keep doing their bus Yatras and to counter that the Seemandhra leaders initiated few bus Yatras. Logically speaking, there is no use of this Bus Yatra barring some political mileage. But this is not good enough for the voters to come under the momentum of a leader.
The true objective for a Bus Yatra would be for a party to go to the opposite region and discuss their agendas along with the opposite side. This has come across as a valid observation because if such discussions happen in an open environment it will lead to major problems getting solved.
