There was a time when the best and strongest area for TDP was the Anantapur district but after the death of their staunch loyalist and much feared Paritala Ravi, the following has come down drastically. After that, the TDP has been working on various regions and the coastal Andhra is looking as the best.
The two districts of Krishna and Guntur have a strong concentration of the Kamma population so if TDP has to gain votes then these are the two areas. Keeping that in mind, it looks like the TDP president Chandrababu Naidu has decided to come up with some grand plans for the development if they are voted to power.
Babu reportedly mentioned that along with Tenali he would focus on Penumudi and Puligadda and make them into a mega commercial and educational hub. He has also added that an industrial corridor would be added to ensure that employment opportunities increase and local suppliers would be benefited. The list continues so let us hope all this will give some confidence to the voters on TDP.
