There was a time when Andhra Pradesh was considered the role model state in India. Looking at the way cities like Hyderabad, Vizag, Vijayawada were growing and developing many felt Andhra Pradesh would set new standards to India. But all that is a thing of the past and today its situation is pathetic.  The entire state is currently isolated because it is suffering with three major problems- Power, Water and Gas. The sad part is, though the state had enough resource for power conservation it was due to the poor administration and the inefficiency of the system that we are now facing four hours power cut everyday.  As for water, due to the unwanted and unnecessary delays in water projects we are now having to depend on Karnataka and Maharashtra to show some mercy. Same goes with Gas. Though we have the gas basin we have to beg Gujarat for more gas which goes from here. What sort of a system is this and what is the government’s take on this.
