Rahul Gandhi is one man who has reached great heights of power by virtue of his birth rather than his credentials. But that’s the fact that Indians have to accept and as the second-in-command of congress, he has begun doing some exercises which involves interacting with the leaders across different states.
But the real test for Rahul’s guts is now coming in the form of Andhra Pradesh. Unlike other states like Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu or Karnataka, AP is one state where congress is in power so ideally he should be more than happy to sit with the MPs MLAs of this state. But that doesn’t seem to be the case.
Sources say Rahul is fully aware that the moment he makes them sit to talk they will bring up the injuring Telangana issue and the discussions will go nowhere. But there will come a point when he has to put his foot down and make his intentions clear to the AP congressmen. Does he have that courage?
