While a section of TDP leaders are enthused about the party getting close to MIM after 15 years, some leaders of the party, especially in the Telangana region are more inclined towards BJP especially those who are of the view that ‘Narendra for Delhi and Chandra for Hyderabad’ will be the mantra for 2014 elections.  This has reportedly started with Talasani Srinivas Yadav expressing his dissatisfaction with the ongoing talks with MIM on the pretext that the party is a close ally of Jagan. Even dynamic leaders of Telangana like Revanth, Motkupalli and those like Keshav are reportedly keen to forge an alliance with BJP.  This is to emerge once again as the winning combination like in 1998 & 99. But with Jagan eating into some of the core vote bank of TDP, Naidu is of the view that he cannot risk minority votes for this sake. While nothing official has been announced the coming months will give a clear picture on that.
