After a series of agitations and token protests which hasn’t yielded much result, TDP supremo Chandrababu Naidu has embarked on a historic paadayathra to boost the morale of TDP cadre in the state. Finally after getting some positive feelers, looks like some young leaders of TDP in the assembly are slowly gaining some confidence for the first time after 2009.
As a part of the party’s programmed in highlighting the failure of Congress government in providing power to the people of the state, TDP MLA’s are all set to launch indefinite fast over the issue at Old MLA quarters from today. They have already launched a series of protests over various other issues.
Though this is yet to get a concrete shape, analysts say that TDP is finally doing what it has to do as a leading opposition party in order to capitalize on the anti- incumbency wave. Though not one single political party has been good, if one has to choose then TDP has done a largely good job during their tenure.
