With TDP leadership and especially Naidu struggling on the roads in the name of padayaathra to get back the party to power in AP, it has become more or less clear that the next elections is presenting a do-or-die situation for the party in Andhra Pradesh. Kammas, the traditional backbone of TDP in AP, have reportedly become upset that the party hasn’t won in 2009 inspite of them spending their political and economic capital for the party. Though they are aware that the party lost by just a 1 percent vote share nevertheless success matters at the end of the day. Now with reports of rift between Nara family and Balakrishna on one side and some of Nandamuri Clan under Hari Krishna on other side, the people of this caste have reportedly warned both the factions that unless and until they mend their fences, they will not support the party this time and go with Jagan, the expected winning bet in 2014!
