The Telugu Desam Party was formed with the sole aim of defeating Congress in the state and has been at the forefront of opposing the grand old party for the last three decades. May be no one would have thought of such possibility then, but now the situation and political equations have changed drastically.
With the completely changing political scenario in the state, things have now come to such a point that there are reports that in order to see that YSRCP doesn’t benefit. This is especially in Seemandhra wherein party leaders are toying with the idea of pushing Babu to forge either a formal or informal understanding with Congress.
This sort of understanding is required in this region so that Jagan can be defeated as his party is strong as of now only in Seemandhra and it is a fact that both the parties view Jagan as a serious threat to their identity than each other. Already, there were few allegations in this regard during the recent coop polls about this form of understanding. Let us see how this one goes.
