It is about 100 days to go for the presidential elections in the U.S. The political campaign of both the candidates is heating up. And of the 7 major gallop polls. 6 indicated that Obama is having a slight edge over Mitt Romney.  It is natural for Barrack Obama to have an edge, given the class polarization turn the American politics have taken on. It is well known that the policies of Mott Romney, the republican do reflect their pro-rich bias. And the movements like the ‘Occupy Wall Street’ with their slogans such as ‘We are the 99%’ does show the class divide is taking precedence over the racial issues in the U.S politics of late.  It is for this reason alone, the U.S voter is showing an inclination toward Obama, despite his dismal performance, in the economic arena, in his first term. The common man of U.S does not want to be left in total lurch, with Romney at the helm of the affairs and thus pro-rich policies taking the high pedestal. They might better prefer Obama and his policy paralysis, over Romney and the tune of his policies arrayed against them.  But, one shall wait till the month of November and the twists and turns that might occur in the internal and the external environment of the U.S, to end up with the post mortem of what really is happening in the minds of the American voter. This is so because the race is too close, between these contenders and there are many odds that could tilt the balance one way or the other.
