The TDP president Chandrababu Naidu may have reached the last phase of his Padayatra ‘Vastunna Mee Kosam’ but that has not stopped him from rolling out offers and sops to various communities. He started off with the SC/ST communities and then came to the BCs. Later on, he offered special packages for Brahmins.
Now, it is heard that he has something to offer for the Kapus. Addressing a public meeting near Anakapalle, Babu has reportedly announced that if TDP is voted to power then he would give Rs 5000 crores for Kapus for five years. He has also promised that he would revive all the houses that have been half built under Rajiv Gruhakalpa scheme.
Though questions are being raised on how Babu is going to arrange all the funds looking at the way he made announcements, some are expressing confidence that if TDP is voted to power it would at least keep them safe from falling into further penury because Congress has pushed the people into financial doldrums.
