BJP is set to face rout from a high of 124 seats to 30-35 seats while even ex-CM Yedyurappa many not stand much to gain. It has to be seen whether Congress will display the confidence to go for a mid-term poll after its emboldened win in Karnataka and stage its comeback by tricking YSRCP and TRS into its fold in AP.
One of the key reasons why BJP failed in Karnataka is due to constant change in governments and the uninhibited internal fight for power which brought down a lot of confidence among the people for the party. If Congress can cash in on this opportunity then it is going to be a very big breakthrough for them.
