NTR Rama Rao is for TDP what the Gandhi family is for Congress. It has been close to two decades since he passed way, but still NTR family, TDP chief Naidu and key leaders of TDP cannot go in the public without taking his name. That is his charisma but these are the same set of people who had completely sidelined him in his own party.
Unable to regain the reins of his party, NTR spent last days of his life as a dejected man and passed away with no one by his side, but today right from Purandareshwari to Naidu and surprisingly even YSRCP leadership, NTR is a great personality, and of course his name is expected to help them win some votes . This speaks volumes about political opportunism prevailing currently. Well atleast the solace is he finally got what he deserved, a statue in India’s highest legislative body but his fans are still upset that he hasn’t got Bharat Ratna.
