A wise person is the one who creates opportunity from adversity whereas the undeserving person creates adversity out of opportunity.
This proverb is apt for BJP which has been routed in Karnataka this time during the assembly polls. Except for some strongholds in Telangana, the party was a non performer in South India.
But after carefully building the party on the foundations created by RSS in Karnataka, BJP won Karnataka in 2008, and it had won a state for the first time in South India and for party workers, it was a golden opportunity for the party to capitalize on this gain and trounce Congress and other regional parties in South India to slowly gain strength across the South. But now the only hope left for the party in this region again is Telangana and its unwavering support for the T-sentiment.
