The people of AP have become very used to the merger talk by TRS leaders for the last two to three years. This idea was mainly pushed forward by KCR who used to jump at every opportunity to declare that he will merge his party with Congress if the latter concedes the demand for a separate Telangana state.
Now Harish has offered merger proposal for TDP like how KCR has given proposals to Congress. Harish Rao said that if Naidu gives a letter supporting Telangana formation, apologizes to people of Telangana for stalling Telangana formation after December 9th statement followed by a promise to make Dalit leaders like Mothkupally, K.S. Rathnam then TRS will be ready to merge itself with TDP.
While uncle KCR has effectively shelved the agitation after taking a political route, Harish Rao is making this new offer as if there are no other people oriented issues that have to be taken up in Telangana.
