.The Pinchapuri community dwindling with a gender mismatch of 700 eligible women as against a marriageable male stock of 3700 has been continuing the wive shopping practice with an intent to increase its population . The children become the property of the community as mothers and fathers keep changing affiliations and hardly give any parental attention or guidance to their wards .Children stay with fathers and mothers have no right to take children with him, unless infants of six months.

Asked about law and police , another tribal chief Sundaraiah says " they do not interfere but only advise us to not do it. Besides we do not publicize the issue which is a closely guarded secret of the community . Once the marriage contract is annulled by elders men do not try to meet ex-wives . The menfolk of the tribe are mostly engaged as daily wagers in farms and work as hired musclemen . 'Most of them are hired as goons by village heads of KIadapa district known for its factions and group murders . Other wise they live on the earnings of their women who either make money on trinkets or flesh trade , says police.
