News on Metro train in Hyderabad has been making rounds for quiet sometime. Hyderabad’s dream project will soon turn into reality as the Telangana Government is keen on giving a green signal to the Metro train very soon. Thus by putting an end to traffic difficulties at least to some extent. KCR led TRS Government has all the plans to run the metro train in Nagole – Begumpet and Miyapur – S.R.Nagar routes from June 2nd i.e on the State formation Day.
Chief Minister of the state Mr. KCR has asked the Chief Secretary Mr. S.P.Singh to see that the patch up works complete at brisk pace. Receiving the orders from the CM, the CS reviewed the Metro works. He enquired the officials on the feeder buses to the nearby colonies from the metro stations, safety of the passengers and pedestrians and the on the facilities.
The Chief Secretary also observed the works of footpaths and bike stations near Parade Grounds, and Gymkhana grounds.He said that the metro train in Hyderabad would make its run on June 2nd and assured of all the international facilities to the passengers travelling in Metro trains. Sky walks will be constructed to the nearby bus stations and railway stations from metro stations, added Mr. S.P. Singh.
Mr. S.P. Singh also made sure to visit and review the Operation Control Centre based in Uppal. He spoke to the officials of various departments. “The Police department is constructing a Command Control Centre at Banjara Hills which will be interlinked with the Metro operations control centre. With this the Metro corridors and station safety must be given utmost important” said the C.S
The Chief Secretary has asked the Financial department Officials to release the funds immediately for the development of metro corridors and ordered the officials to speed up the works in the metro routes.
