This may come as shocker to everyone who are following the recent developments in Andhra Pradesh. It is known that AP police prevented leader of the opposition, YSRCP chief Jagan Mohan Reddy from comingout of the Visakhapatnam when he tried to participate in candle light protests at RK Beach on Republic Day supporting special status for the state.
AP CM Chandra Babu Naidu and ruling TDP attacked Jagan Mohan Reddy of trying to instigate violence in Visakhapatnam and destroy peace and tranquility in the steel city and claimed this was the reason why Jagan was prevented from entering the city.
Now in a huge shock to AP CM Chandra Babu Naidu, one of the TDP senior leader resigned from the party opposing Jagan's prevention by the police. Inside talk is many in TDP too felt that the government over reacted on the peaceful protest march planned at RK Beach,Vizag on the Republic Day.
Former MLA Vasireddy Varada Ramarao from Vijayanagaram announced that he is resigning from the party over the police action. He forwarded the reignation letter to TDP district president and attacked DP fovernment for failing to get special status for the state.
