His decisive actions and decisions like surgical strikes against Pakistan, demonetisation increased his popularity among people of the country leaving the opposition parties lost in search of strategies to defeat him in the upcoming elections for five state assemblies.
Now PM Modi campaigning in Uttar Pradesh redefined 'SCAM' in a sensational manner. Addressing a huge rally in Meerut, Modi blasted all his rivals in Uttar Pradesh saying “This election is BJP's fight against 'scam'; 'S' for Samajwadi, 'C' for Cong, 'A' for Akhilesh, 'M' for Mayawati.”
At the BJP's parivartan rally he said “Till the time you don't vote SCAM out, UP will not see good days. These people don't want to help UP, they just want to save their government,”
Uttar Pradesh will go to polls beginning from Feb 11. It is widely felt that a victory for the BJP in UP will make Modi impregnable at the Centre for the foreseeable future, not just the next Lok Sabha poll.
