Well it's all happenning in Tamilnadu. All The decks have been cleared for Sasikala Natarajan to be the next CM. People of Tamil Nadu gets new 'Amma' in the form of Chinnamma Sasikala Natarajan. This was declared in the AIADMK party crucial meet held at party head quarters at Roypettai.
The Present Chief Minister Panneer.O.Selvam has tendered his resignation, confirmed the AIADMK twitter account. It also clarified that Panneer Selvam proposed Sasikala's name as the leader of the legislature. With this Chinnamma is all set for the swearing-in-Ceremony as Chief Minister.
The oppsition party DMK hit at AIADMK saying that its a black day in democracy. They accused that Sasikala is nowhere a right person to be the CM of Tamilnadu. DMK questioned as how she can carry the things on when she is convicted in few cases. In future if Sasikala is convicted then she has to quit as CM as the Late Chief Minister had to quit twice.
Things changed quickly in Tamilnadu politics after the sudden demise of Jayalalithaa. Jayalalithaa's trusted aide Sasikala who performed the former's last rites it self had given a clear picture that she would take over the party. After few days Sasikala was elected as the General secretary of AIADMK. Speculations were rife that she would become the CM. Though it took some time for Sasikala to settle down, its now Chinnamma's era that begins. With this Sasikala will be the third Women CM of Tamilnadu others being Janaki Ramachandran and Jayalalithaa.
