Well the number game is on with all the twists and turns in Tamil politics. Support seems to be growing for the caretaker CM O.Panneer Selvam. Earlier today the man who was in Sasikala’s camp and education minister Mr. Pandiyan met OPS and said that he was in support of the later.Two MP’s joined the Panneer camp while another MP Sathya Bhama extended support to the acting Chief Minister.
Sasikala earlier had sought appointment of the governor and allow her to parade her MLA’s. After a brief addressing to party men, Sasikala went to Jayalalithaa’s memorial and paid tributes to her. After that she moved to the golden bay resort where the MLA’s stayed. She addressed the MLA’s , Chinnamma was disappointed or unhappy after the meet with MLA’s, sources said. Another twist is that Sasikala might be out of race for CM and news is around that sengottiyan’s name may be proposed revealed sources.
“Our number will be more than what it is today and it will land at 135,” says K Pandiarajan, member of the Panneerselvam camp. “Drama is coming to a close soon. I’m at least in touch with 20 of them (MLAs) so I don’t think phones are switched off,” he adds.
Mean while BJP MP Subramanian swamy met the governor MR. CH. Vidya Sagar Rao and discussed the political situation. He asked the Governor to invite Chinnamma for the floor test.
