AP CM Chandra Babu Naidu is trying his best to fulfill the promises he made during last elections. Now that he reached the half way mark and 2019 elections fast approaching he is increasing the pace of the development schemes and irrigation projects.
In the meantime opposition parties like Jagan's YSRCP, foe turned friend Pawan Kalyan's Jana Sena are trying to cash in over the failures of Chandra Babu Naidu's government. Chandra Babu Naidu has taken completion of Polavaram project as a prestige issue.
Chanda Babu Naidu according to the sources warned officials against any dleay in the project. Chandra Babu Naidu said he will stay for one week at the project site to look after the work.
IN a review meet of the project at the secretariat at Velagapudi,Chandra Babu said “Take all possible measures to meet the targets set for every week without fail. This project has to be complete as per schedule,“ .He expressed his anger on targets noe being met at the spillway works this month. He said “Only 50 per cent of the target was met. In the first 12 days, you could complete only 21.47 lakh cubic metres against the target of 44.63 lakh cubic metres. You people need to step up the pace,“
