Supreme Court convicted former CM Jayalalithaa's close aide Sasikala in disproportionate assets case and also found fault with Jayalalithaa for allowing Sasikala to amass so much wealth looting public wealth.

Now in a sheer coincidence, it is comingout that three Telugu politicians are behind Jayalalithaa and Sasikala's conviction. Marri Chennareddy as the then governor of Tamil  Nadu in 1996 gave green signal permitting prosecution of the then CM Jayalalithaa in the disproportionate assets case acting on representation from Subramanian Swamy, BJP MP.

In 2015, when Bengaluru trial court passed verdict sentencing the four accused along with Jayalalithaa, Rosaiah Konijeti, the then governor inducted Pannerselvam as the CM. Once again it was Rosaiah who swore in Jayalalithaa as CM after she got relief in the Karnataka High Court which acquitted all the four accused.

Now in 2019,when apex court gave its final verdict, Vidyasagar Rao as governor delayed the decision on inviting Sasikala to form the government.
