AP CM Chandra Babu Naidu promised people of the state to present them a world class capital at Amaravathi and in order to do so introduced land pooling and is trying to convince farmers to part their fertile lands for capital construction in return for attractive government alternatives.
Many farmers parted away with their lands for alternate sources and even Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitely waived off taxes for them. However some farmers protested against Land Pooling and Jagan Mohan Reddy of YSRCP and Pawan Kalyan of Jana Sena protested against forcible acquisition of lands from the farmers.
Now YSRCP leaders alleged huge scam in AP land pooling and approached Visakhapatnam District Collector and presented them a letter. They explained how the proposed Vuda land pooling has allegedly become a big scam. They demanded an action against those realtors, who allegedly threatened the farmers.
YSRCP leader Peethaal Murthy yadav said “Some realtors approached the farmers, showing them their photos with Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu and his son N. Lokesh and got the lands registered under their names for land pooling. While the beneficiary plot size was around 710 square yards in lieu of one acre of assigned land, it was now increased to 1,210 square yards,”
YSRCP leaders also demanded action against ancroachers of government landes in Anandapuram,Chinna Gadili ,Bheemili and other areas.
